Michael serves as the Program Assistant at The LGBTQ Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In his role, Michael develops, coordinates, and facilitates programming from an intersectional framework on social justice to increase the understanding of gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and romantic orientation.

 Michael graduated from Indiana University South Bend with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in dance. During his studies, Michael was awarded scholarship and attended the Rocky Ridge Young Artist Seminar, the José Limón Summer Dance Intensive, and the Mostly Modern Festival. Michael served as President of the Indiana University South Bend Queer Straight Alliance for two years, and was nominated for the Centellas Student Leader of the Year in 2016.
